
Rachel Farnan
Rachel has been a disability support worker for 20 plus years in the Ipswich area. Prior to this Rachel worked in pharmacy. Rachel has an array of qualification covering disability support, dementia care and pharmacy.
Rachel’s role in HHSSI is mainly in administration, although she is frequently in contact with all their clients and families on a regular basis. A large part of Rachel’s role is developing the systems we use at Helping Hands Support Services Ipswich and training of our staff to optimise outcomes for both staff and customers. Rachel enjoys having the ability to work supporting the clients in the community.
Rachel is an active member of her local community and attends numerous events in the Ipswich area with her family. She enjoys checking out new experiences and networking in the disability support field to come up with new and engaging activities for her clients and can be frequently seen with a coffee in her hand.

Matthew Farnan
Matt has been employed in the disability support area since the year 2000. Prior to this his employment was within the hospitality industry.
Matt has a vast array of qualifications ranging from disability to NDIS, to food and hospitality, and more importantly hands on experience of day-to-day support work.
Matt’s role in HHSSI is primarily administrative, although occasionally he is seen out and about supporting the clients with their day-to-day tasks.
Matt enjoys spending time with his family on his days off.
Matt also enjoys motor sports, Rugby, and loves cooking on the BBQ.
